Ari has over 25 years of experience in consumer finance, private equity and accounting. Prior to founding Carbon Wealth Advisors, Ari spent a decade at Citigroup as managing director, holding various roles including CEO and president of CitiFinancial Services and CAO of CitiMortgage. Before this, he worked in private equity as a portfolio manager at American Express and serving as CFO at NetAtWork, Inc. He began his career as a CPA at Arthur Andersen.
Ari received his MBA from Columbia Business School and undergraduate accounting degree from Rutgers University’s School of Business. He holds his series 66 registrations with Mariner Platform Solutions, LLC, a registered investment advisor.
Ari recently moved from Manhattan to Englewood, New Jersey, where he lives with his wife, Rachel, and their three children, Mia, Liberty and Michael. Outside of the office, he enjoys jogging, biking and traveling as well as coaching soccer and Little League baseball.

David has over 22 years of experience as a financial professional, the majority spent at Goldman Sachs. Through his career as a client portfolio manager on its U.S. equity growth team, he developed a deep understanding of investing and management. He also headed the defined contribution team for Goldman Sachs Asset Management, which advised institutions, financial advisors and small/medium businesses on how to optimize retirement plan investment choices, focused on outcome.
Prior to cofounding Carbon Wealth Advisors, David worked on a wealth advisory team at Ayco, a Goldman Sachs company. David received his undergraduate degree in finance from Rutgers University’s School of Business. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and holds his series 66 registrations with Mariner Platform Solutions, LLC, a registered investment advisor.
David lives in Livingston, New Jersey, with his wife, Laurie, and their three children, Jacob, Marisa and Liam. He enjoys biking, golfing and settling down with a good book. He also enjoys listening to podcasts and watching a great documentary. David loves traveling and hopes to make it to all 50 states someday – he has made it to 43 so far. A big sports fan, David loves to cheer on the Rutgers basketball team and the New York Jets — but not as much as he enjoys cheering on his own kids at their games.
